And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I concur. Was able to spend two days there in 2018. Not nearly enough time! The airport alone is worth a couple of days. It contains two movie theatres and an amusement park. The hotel and gardens shown in the photo above were stunning. There is also a full-size casino, two-story shopping mall, and a subway station underneath that amazing structure. The people were very friendly and the food was terrific.
It wasn't always like that though. When I was a kid air force fellows (not US) who were stationed there talked about how grubby it was. They don't tolerate bad behaviour as the American that tagged a wall found out a few years ago. Ratan was applied before deportation.
I spent 5 days there in 2011.
