And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yeah, that neck dive is something to pay attention to. I bought a new black one in 1992, still have it. Immediately swapped out the PU's for DiMarzio PAF profs. What do you suppose that big chrome plaque is for?
No pickguard, maestro vibrola wackiness, pickup select switch looks way off, seems AI image to me. The ‘tuners’ on the side of the neck are the knobs to the marshall amp. The body is on a vox amp. —Stiggs
Nice and shiny SG. I had one but couldn't get over the neck dive issue. I'm a Fender guy myself.

DeleteThat Wood... finish is beautiful. Almost a wall hanger.
ReplyDeleteSo what year had the tuners on the side of the neck? Or headless?
ReplyDeleteAll SG's have the tuners 3 to a side, never headless that I am aware of. Headless would mean the tuners must be at the opposite end of the strings.
DeleteThat big chrome thingy is similar in size to a vibrato unit on some models, or it's ballast to help with the neck dive.

ReplyDeleteI’d love to hear Derek Trucks wail on it.
