  2. A great one for the back yard! I smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving on one of these.
They used to be under $100... inflation

  3. I prefer clean burning propane - taste the meat, not the heat! Hank Hill.

    1. Yep. And don't have to wait an hour for the "coals".

    2. Might as well cook indoors on the stove. Charcoal is the essence of barbeque, propane isn't.

    4. The battle of the ages: gas vs. charcoal. I bet nobody ever changes anyone's mind, they just say which side they're on.

  4. I've picked up several of thee on the side of the street. People put them out when they move-up to propane. they were all old but still solid after years of use.

  5. I am still using my grandfather’s avocado green Weber that has to be over 50 years old. The lid was dropped sometime in the past, so it is a little warped and does not completely close, but is in good shape otherwise. I used it over the weekend.

  6. Looks like Weber finally put little spring locks on the kettle legs. Can't count the number of times the legs on mine fell out while trying to move the Q. A few drilled holes and a couple screws fixed it.
