And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I've picked up several of thee on the side of the street. People put them out when they move-up to propane. they were all old but still solid after years of use.
I am still using my grandfather’s avocado green Weber that has to be over 50 years old. The lid was dropped sometime in the past, so it is a little warped and does not completely close, but is in good shape otherwise. I used it over the weekend.
Looks like Weber finally put little spring locks on the kettle legs. Can't count the number of times the legs on mine fell out while trying to move the Q. A few drilled holes and a couple screws fixed it.
Still the best for typical home grilling.
ReplyDeleteA great one for the back yard! I smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving on one of these.
ReplyDeleteThey used to be under $100... inflation
