And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I though Devil's Tower was great to see! Had the family, camped out at a campground there, with a pool. That night they showed Close Encounters of the Third Kind" on a projection TV (this was early 90s). Sitting in a lawn chair watching Close Encounters, and just over your shoulder IS the Devils Tower! A good memory.
Got to see it from many, many miles away on a bike trip to Yellowstone. Have a pic of it and it's so small you have to point it out to folks. But hey, it was never on my bucket list so it's just an extra. Old Faithful was.
Say there CW, this is starting to look like columnar jointing week! First Skye and now Wyoming. Steve_in_Ottawa
