And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Ford sold lots of them, but since it's the only one painted that way it is unique, no? I like the very airy feeling the five window cab creates. Al_in_Ottawa
My dad owned one of these. It had a large rectangular block of steel just in front of the rear axle (factory design) because the rear end was too light without it.
IIRC, their main claim to fame was a lower bed height than regular pickup trucks. I sold mine to an uncle that used it to pick up cast off furniture to help get his auction house started. It had a bigger than standard 300 ci. My father found a couple in the 80's (I think) that he lowered. One he turned into a trailer to tow behind the other one. He didn't need the set, he did it just for the challenge.
It cannot be "very" unique.
ReplyDeleteUnique means the only one.
Either it is unique, or it is not.
As Rush used to remind us, words mean things.

ReplyDeleteQuite unique, except for the VW Carryall and Corvair Rampside.

In the sunny south it’s almost unbearable riding just above the engine in the summer heat.
