And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A good start for the wood pile. Need much more for the winter.
That pile is just what you need for a day or two. The real woodpile is kept some distance away from your log cabin, because of all the bugs and insects in firewood!
My guess is that it is used for snowmobiling [evergreen trees nearby (e.g., high elevation), gasoline setups on the side, etc.]
Step inside, take off coveralls and parkas and hang them up to dry, walk into the main cabin, and sit down and enjoy some high priced, "sippin bourbon" :)
