And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Don't know if it's the same model year, but I rode in a black one to a relative's funeral in the '50's. Being a kid, I was mightily impressed with the suicide doors.
Since this Continental model came out in '61 I would guess you were in a Lincoln Cosmopolitan from the early '50s. Give him 10 points for the orderly tool storage on the wall and then deduct 20 for those rims. Al_in_Ottawa
Once had a 1966 T-bird with suicide doors in the 70s. Forget what happened to it. Too bad I hadn't kept it but back in the day, it was considered a junker.
