I'm most familiar with the Nevada desert, but this one will do nicely!

    1. I agree. I used to live just a few miles to the west in Mesa. Seen snow on the top while enjoying a cool morning. Only happened once in 4 years.

    Weathers finally nice. Temps finally dropped below 100 yesterday.

    1. You and I aren't far from each other. As I started out for my walk this morning, the temperature read 57°. I haven't seen that for quite some time.

  4. Disappointed to learn big cactus only in small part of Arizona. I always thought the whole southwest was covered in them

  5. You're talking Saguaro, right? Seems to me it's population has been growing.

  6. Remember going to Bullhead City with family to water ski on Lake Mojave as a kid in the 50's and 60's then with my own kids decades later seeing great patches of Saguaro.
