  1. Wonderful as an after-shave.

  2. I wet a cotton ball with it and put it the rear AC vent in my truck. That is my air freshener.

  3. Since I was a young lad, Hoppe’s No. 9 has been the only solvent I used to clean weapons. Until today I didn’t know that it’s “Traditional”. Remarkable!

  4. I dunno, for a manly fragrance it's sort of a toss up between Hoppes and WW2 GI bore cleaner in the attractive green can.

  5. Not to be used in an enclosed space.

    1. All others, no problem. C'mon. How many millions of gun owners have inhaled how many cubic feet of Hoppe's 9 vapor in the living room, kitchen, or garage? Any reports of problems? (Yes, I know- ya shouldn't drink the stuff, and ya shouldn't huff it - it ain't harmless in high concentrations - but in normal use, don't getcher panties in a wad!)

  6. Hoppes no 9, bourbon and a cigar. Those are smells that go together for me after shooting (and all the ammo is put far away). For me usually mixed with a little Rat Pack or Peggy Lee
