  5. Scarlet Sails - it's a yearly selebration for the high school graduates in St. Petersbourg, RF.
    A story by a Russian writer Alexander Green told about a girl who was promiced when she was little that her future husband would come to her in a ship with scarlet sails and whe was waiting for him, thus becoming a laughing stock of her village, so when some captain fallen in love with her he chose this very way to propose to her.
    So the Scaelet Sails selebration for the young people is a simbol that all their dreams about the adult life might come true.
