And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Workhorses
Between these two, and over the years, how many of America's enemies do you suppose they've eliminated?
The the first part of some of the sweetest sounds I ever heard were the whine of those turbofans, then the second sweetest part was the burping of the GAU-8.
The Republic P-47D That is a late war built Jug. It carried 8 M-3 .50 cal. MG's that fired 1300 RPM PER GUN. + 4 to 6 rockets under each wing with six inch shells for warheads and two 500 pound Iron bomb or Napalm canisters + a centerline drop tank or Iron bomb. That camo pint job on the "Warthog" is about 30 years old. So "who knows?"---Ray
