  1. Only at night. They fly relatively low, and are vulnerable to ground fire. At least one got shot down in Iraq (?), because it lingered over a target until dawn.

  3. I'm not sure that is an AC-130 gunship. There should be guns visible on the port side (our right) sticking out. Still, a great picture!
