It is pounding down snow in the Sierra

Here's the Sentinel Dome webcam up in Yosemite on the second of this month.


Here's the same view this morning.  The snow bank is now covering about half the frame, with an icicle to boot!


And the snow continues to fall.  The Ice Age approaches....

    I think that I'll lay in a second and third cord of hardwood this summer in preparation for the coming ice age. It's never a bad idea to be prepared. Maybe I'll buy a .50 Barrett to take out Mastodons.

      You'd be better off using your Barrett on Al Gore, LL. After all what did a Mastodon ever do to you?

    that global warning caused the big oak in front of my house to split...and I now have a big branch hanging precariously over my bedroom. Waiting for the tree doctor to visit this morning. Glad they do housecalls.
