And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Either the tide went out or that was one bad landing
A Noorduyn Norseman, the first plane designed for the bush. It may have been dragged ashore for major repairs. It's hard to change an engine without solid ground to place your crane on.
The insignia on the plane indicates it belongs to the US Fish & Wildlife Service. The cages suggest that animal trapping was part of the equipment unloaded.
