And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Awesome satellite photo of the snowpack, plus some muddy brown water in the Yolo Bypass just west of Sacramento.
Is the muddy brown water at the top from the Eel River? Russian River?
ReplyDeleteIt's the Russian River making the smallish smudge in the ocean just north of Tomales Bay, and probably the Eel making the big smudge in the north.

ReplyDeleteHeading toward San Francisco. Frozen turds are easier to scoop off the streets. That's a plus.
