And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Fitted out properly, it could make a hell of an amphibious camper. But perhaps keep the mounts for depth charges and torpedoes, and machine guns. Just in case.
cats are certainly cool. albatros(SA-16) also. retired for corrosion and fatigue. a certain level of drama was lost by the Coasties when the amphibs went west.

The Coasties need flying boats. Shame they don't have them anymore.
