And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Cat's can be trained to do these courses, it's more work to train cats but it can be done. You see them in commercials doing as commanded routinely. And they are even better at these than dogs are as they are far more agile. And cats are not evil....they are cats....they love their family in their own way. As someone who owns both cats and dogs the idea of comparing them is ludicrous but both animals love their families, just in different ways. Cats do not have the need for social acceptance that dogs have so if they sense someone doesn't care for them they will be cold and indifferent, they react to human emotions in ways dogs do not.
Small minds....the world is full of small minds. Evidence of the existence of the larger subset of the genus homo......homo stupidicus. Can't pick them out till they start making noise but once they start tongue wagging you can't miss them.
Sorry but you are the one ignorant and blinded enough to believe that 'dog people are the best'.....you have branded yourself, I merely point that fact out. It is your personality and outlook that is suspect. But "kill the messenger" has always been the default reaction for those confronted with truth they don't like.
Dear Dan Yowling, Did you perchance miss the "rofl" preface to my dog people remark. Oh and thank you for confirming the latter part of that statement.
Dan, do you know any World Wide Web links to cats doing agility contests, or any other non-self- serving activity? As a housecat hater, but farm cat admirer, I would learn a lot from that.

Cats have their place in nature --- but they are inherently evil and have never been considered "man's best friend".
ReplyDeleteHowever, every time I see a competition like that, I think of the feature film "Best of Show"...
Here is one of Flash doing agility practice, I used to show it to my Fergus. http://youtu.be/YjVP6FxHpm0
