A tawdry end to a classic TV series

The puncher and the punchee:

And the reason for the confrontation?

"One source claimed: “It was all over a catering issue. They came to the end of filming after a long day and Jeremy discovered that no food had been laid on."
“He just saw red and hit the assistant producer, who he blamed for not having organised the food. He snapped.”
"The incident was reported to BBC bosses on Monday who then informed the 54-year-old yesterday he was suspended."
I for one will miss this program.   I can' think of even one episode that wasn't entertaining.

    2. Top Gear is the single biggest money maker for British TV.....and Clarkson is a big reason for that money. Normally I'd say that things would be allowed to settle down
However the Brits of late have had a penchance for committing societal suicide on a massive scale. The BBC is just stupid enough to cancel their meal ticket.

You have to love Clarkson, he had the balls to punch Prick Morgan.

  2. Clarkson, Hammond and May's contracts all expire at the end of March. They had been working on an extension before this. Now? Who knows?

I'll be pretty damn pissed if the Beeb lets my favorite show die because the head of programming hates Jeremy.

  3. What Dan said,

The beeb is really stupid enough to terminate their most popular show. I'll miss him but we got reruns! I loved when he and James May drove to the magnetic pole and drank gin and its and got in trouble for it. Like they were going to run over a polar bear....
