And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Hey crazy woman! That's a 305 Jimmy V-6 that they only made for a few years in the early sixties. A 4-1/4" bore and 3-1/2" stroke, it was a torque machine. I drove one pulling an 18' Shasta trailer across 20" of fast moving, slippery Armagosa River in Death Valley as we slowly slid downstream. I was 16 and dad was teaching #1 son how to drive in adverse conditions. I look back and realize he was the bravest man I ever met. I remember his calm voice on throttle control as my heart pounded in my head. And now more coffee.
