Interesting contrast

In the foreground is Eschenheimer Turm, the oldest and most unaltered building in the Innenstadt district (city center) of Frankfurt, Germany. Erected at the start of the 15th century (1426-28), the tower was a city gate that was part of the late-medieval fortifications of Frankfurt and is now a major landmark.
Towering above and behind the 47 meter (154 ft) tower is Nextower, a 136 meter tall (446 ft) office building completed in 2009. The fascinating contrast between the two buildings is captured perfectly in this photo by Wikimedia Commons userEpizentrum.
