Hump day escape

That represents a true investment in dry and wet flies.

Dinner in it's natural environment.

  1. So...are you playing hooky from work and going fly dancing?

  2. Ah, miss my crazy chickens for eggs & fly tying materials... Do you Tenkara?

    1. I had to look Tenkara up, and although I don't call the way I fish with flies Tenkara, when I do use flies, I dabble on small streams, which sounds very similar. Long pole, short or no cast, and dangle the fly right over the fishy water, making it jiggle on the surface if I can. Fish love that jiggle!
On bigger water like the Stan or the Moke, I spin fish.

    2. And I got three eggs from my little chicken flock last weekend. I guess I need to learn to fly tie (like I have the time!) so I can use those feathers too.
