And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

It's Jolly Green Giant time over at the Friday Flyby
i dont agree.i served thre tours in veit nam and was involved in the mayaques incident where six jollie greens were shot down and the other three were shot up so bad they couldnt come back from sadiheap to get us 44 dead and 84 wounded three mia.i got a large bayonet wound in my side.it was not for nothing 1975 was the high water mark for communism by 1989 if was pretty much dead.so i think korea and veit nam slowed them up just enuff that reality caught up with them.my four kids who have served in these last two wars think they were for nothing but we dont know how history will play out.iran has over extended itself in syria and with its nuclear program it is ripe for collapse maybe thats why odummy is comeing to there aid to save them? your friend truckwilkins

i worked for tony po.the three marne mias i believe were ethier blown up with their chopper or drowned in ocean and washed away there was no way to recover their bodies.no one left behind seems noble but its not always possible dispite our best efforts and beleivr me i have felt guilty all these years. your friend truckwilkins
