Spring is in the air here at the place, so, having prepared a small plot for planting last fall, it was time to strike.

All winter, I've been mulching in assorted kitchen scraps like egg shells and coffee grounds, so the clay soil is better and better (or more accurately, less worse).

They say it's all in the preparation, and that might well be true, since it took only a few minutes to get all the seeds planted.  Now, it will be watching and waiting to see what sprouts, and then to nurse everything to harvest.

If I get that far, my plan is to save seeds and see if I can do this over and over again, year after year, with no further monetary investment.  Should be fun.
