Back in March 2000, the folks who believed in global warming were noting that the winter that year had been mild, and decided that that meant the climate disaster they had been predicting was now upon us.  Specifically, they said:

  "Britain's winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives.

Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain's culture, as warmer winters - which scientists are attributing to global climate change - produce not only fewer white Christmases, but fewer white Januaries and Februaries."

Oops! 

Guess they were confusing normal weather variations with their predicted horrific climate change!!

This March, it's the snowiest and coldest for 50 years!!   5000 dead!  Good thing they renamed their "sky is falling" fantasy from global warming to climate change, so they could cry and wring their hands together no matter what the weather was.
