Chief Red Shirt, Oglala Sioux.

Red Shirt served as an official Sioux chief during two peace delegations to Washington.  In 1887 he toured with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.  Red Shirt, South Dakota is named after this man.

This guy looks every single inch a chief.   I'm sure he made an impression in Washington.
