When Galileo discovered Jupiter had moons, he named them after the God Jupiter's mistresses. Juno is the name of Jupiter's wife, a nerdy scientist joke if there ever was one.
In fact, much of the Solar System is named after Jupiter's family and his many mistresses and children. His mother and father were Gaia [Earth] and Saturn. Uranus is his grandfather. Pluto and Neptune are his brothers. Mars and Venus are his legitimate offspring with Juno. Mercury is Jupiter's son with Maia [a Plieades sister]. Jupiter's moons (with the exception of Ganymede who is Jupiter's cup bearer) are named after his mistresses, Metis, Adrastea, Amalthea, Thebe, Io, Europa, Callisto, Leda, Himalia, Lysithea, Elara, Anake, Carme, Pasiphae and Sinope.
Plus, every single antenna of the Deep Space Network in Goldstone is currently pointing at Juno. All hands on deck!
I can only hope that Jupiter's 'powerful' nature won't overwhelm Juno. There has been discussion of the cameras failing before the end of mission simply because of the damage that being that close to the planet will cause.
