Cabin Porn

That walkway might be a bit dicey in the winter.

  1. As a matter of fact, I've been there. It's near Engineer Summit, roughly between Ouray, CO and Lake City, CO. And it's even cooler than it looks in the picture. I've been inside the cabin itself and while it's very well done rustic, it's just a bit on the cramped side for my tastes. The nearest residence is about 10 miles away down toward Lake City.

    1. Further, in the winter, the only way up there is by snowmobile. The snow base is usually 10' plus. You can go north, and cut around the gorge and enter the residence that way. The last time I saw it, the cabin was for sale. I entertained making an offer on it but didn't. It may have sold but they had it up for sale for about two years.
