Dammit!!

Can we take that idiot Jerry Brown, and all his incompetent Democrat colleagues out and (figuratively) shoot them now?

One of the few cutting edge high tech companies left in the formerly Golden State has decided to up and leave for Texas.

Xcor is very likely to become one of the leaders in next wave space exploration and travel, and of course, the business climate here in California is so toxic that they have now invested time and money to locate an alternative location to do business.

Meanwhile, California legislative morons vote to continue with the bullet train to nowhere, squandering billions that they will have to load onto the backs of the taxpayers to build technology from the 1800's.  Meanwhile, they ignore the exit from the state of companies that will lead the way into the future.

Rope + telephone pole, it's time is coming.
Heh

Let's just admit it right up front, CNN and Piers Morgan both suck, but in spite of that general assessment, recently Morgan did a program on George Bush and the mountain bike race he started for wounded veterans.

The show focuses on one vet in particular, and how his meeting with Jorge Bush led to the creation of this event.   No matter what you think of his RINO-ness, this program nicely highlights Bush's basic decency.  Well worth the watch.

Meanwhile, we should keep in mind that George Bush is now in Zambia helping to renovate a health clinic there.  The guy has a heart, that is for sure.  It's hard to imagine Obama organizing either of these activities, or personally participating in charity of any kind.

The Opportunity Rover landed on Mars in January 2004, and was expected to last three months.

It looks like NASA got more than they expected.

Here are the latest photos released by NASA, taken from Opportunity's winter hideout, Greeley Haven, where technicians believe it will have the best chance of surviving the Martian winter.

They look like they were taken by someone sitting right on top of the rover, and give one the impression of being exactly there on the surface. I feel like I could reach down and pick up a pebble from the ground ( or draw a smiley face in the dirt ). Truly amazing.

Every state that elected a Republican governor in 2010, 17 of them, have now seen a drop in unemployment.   In fact, these particular states have seen their job market increase at a rate 50% higher than the national average.

Kansas - 6.9% to 6.1% = a decline of 0.8%
Maine - 8.0% to 7.4% = a decline of 0.6%
Michigan - 10.9% to 8.5% = a decline of 2.4%
New Mexico - 7.7% to 6.7% = a decline of 1.0%
Oklahoma - 6.2% to 4.8% = a decline of 1.4%
Pennsylvania - 8.0% to 7.4% = a decline of 0.6%
Tennessee - 9.5% to 7.9% = a decline of 1.6%
Wisconsin - 7.7% to 6.8% = a decline of 0.9%
Wyoming - 6.3% to 5.2% = a decline of 1.1%
Alabama - 9.3% to 7.4% = a decline of 1.9%
Georgia - 10.1% to 8.9% = a decline of 1.2%
South Carolina - 10.6% to 9.1% = a decline of 1.5%
South Dakota - 5.0% to 4.3% = a decline of 0.7%
Florida - 10.9% to 8.6% = a decline of 2.3%
Nevada - 13.8% to 11.6% = a decline of 2.2%
Iowa - 6.1% to 5.1% = a decline of 1.0%
Ohio - 9.0% to 7.3% = a decline of 1.7%

An amazing statistic, and one with huge implications for the election in November.  One as well that Mitt Romney ought to be repeating at every campaign stop and in every speech.

Department of Transportation signs in Alaska have been hacked to express someone's opinion of what should be done with Obama.

                                                                           Right on!

Obama welcomed in Ohio!

That popularity, it's growing! Smaller!
