Tree climbing line does not stretch, that would make climbing too spicy. You need to be able to lean against it, without it stretching. Rock climbing rope stretches, gives you a shock absorber effect, so as not to jerk your guts out when you're involved with sudden weightlessness, a gravity storm.
Why did you title "Do not use...."? The specs claim a 9000lb MBS which is nearly double what is required for arborist work. I've ordered mine in green.
