And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

PIRAN, Slovenia – bird’s eye view of the prettiest town on the Slovenian coast.
…aaand the local and state ninny’s here would deny water and sewer because of the new environment protection reg’s so as not to ‘damage the water’ regardless this looks neat and tidy and fully operational for a long time.
Heading up there later (Slovenia)this month for a surprise visit on my cousins birthday. Those rooftops look like my neck of the woods here in Arsoli Italy.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of the villages on the Adriatic. Sailed the Dalmatian coast several years ago. Simply gorgeous.
