  2. Rough-field/STOL capability made it an ideal craft for infiltration/exfiltration of covert agents, and picking up escaping prisoners in occupied countries.

  3. Designed as an army cooperation aircraft to be used for artillery spotting. During the war the 'spy taxi' versions were painted flat black and had a ladder attached to the fuselage so the spy could climb aboard.

  4. They also were built in Canada at the Victory Aircraft plant in Malton Ontario near Toronto.
