And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
first dog I ever had looked a lot like him. he got hit by a car before he was a year old by some asshole who never stop to check if he was alright. took me years before I got another dog after that heartbreak.
My wife is the dog person. Today we have four rescue German Shepherds. I love them a lot. Over the years when we lose a furry baby, my wife gets a replacement (more or less) within a week. The fastest way to cure heart ache is another furry baby.
