  1. Printing money and diluting salaries by doubling the workforce with the addition of women, yeah.

    1. Who gave grandpa access to the PC again?
He is once again blabbing about the "good old times" when women "knew" their place and didn't dare talk back to men.

    2. Anon, he is talking economic reality while you are babbling about down with the alleged paternal hegemony or some kind of crap. You are a one trick pony.

    3. Poor little Anon 6:51. I wonder if mommy can find you a "safe place" to hide from the mean old men (who by the way, know a lot of really important stuff that they have experienced over their lifetimes).

    4. Nothing against age and experience here but the last two presidents have proven the point that there is a point in which you can have too much experience.
If you reached the point in which you fall asleep in your own meetings then maybe you should not be in those rooms anymore.

    5. Mark, we're not talking about criminal experience.
6:51 has never spent more than 30 seconds around any woman, ever.

    6. You forgot the importation of workers from foreign countries also depresses wages. As well as the off-shoring of our industry having sent American jobs elsewhere cause American companies didn't want to pay American wages (thanks Clinton!)

    7. Don’t forget increasing taxes to pay the benefits of layabout “refugees”

    1. Correct, 10X is about right.

    2. Maybe, but back in the day I did not have two dollars to buy a dinner....$28.00 no problem now.

    3. T-bone is about $28 per lbs. at a supermarket. At a restaurant you can expect to pay double that.

Beef prices have been up 15% since Trump took office. A combination of supply disruptions and tariffs are responsible for the high prices.

    4. The meat they served at Bonanza was cheap as f#@k. They treated it with papain enzymes to soften it up. Don’t compare the meat yhey were serving to the t-bone you buy in the store, not the same.

    5. Anon 9:57 seems to be suffering from TDS. Poor baby.

Mr. Trump did not cause the drought that is happening in the middle part of America. When there is no rain, there is no grass or hay to feed the cattle. The farmers/ranchers sell off their cattle, the supply of beef is reduced and the price goes up.

Now you TDS suffers can blame so-called "man caused Global Warming" or you can think with your brains and realize that Mother Nature and the weather is being persnickety.

    6. Yeah, that and HAARP.

    7. There can be more than one reason for higher beef prices. And there is. Drought, plus a 76% tariff on Brazilian beef. Nearly 10% of the beef the US eats comes from Brazil.

  5. I worked at a Ponderosa Steak House when I was sixteen. Best time of my life, but I never worked as hard as I did there and I later became a molecular biologist and a lawyer. Bonanza was our main competitor but we kicked their ass.

  6. Bonanza ran from Sept. 1959 to Jan. 1973. Don't know when this ad is from but it looks pretty early in their run. If we use the year 1960 then that $2.79 t-bone would be $31 today.
