    2. my fist thought as well.

Chips and eyes don't mix well.

She's too pretty to be blind, or to wear an eyepatch.

    3. Well, that would give us both a chance....

  2. Operating a lathe without eye protection is really stupid.

  3. 1st thing I thought - safety glasses- stupid person

  4. Nose ring, tats on her head and arms, safety glasses as a fashion statement. She'll need a few more IQ points before she qualifies for a lathe.

  5. It is pretty obvious to me that she is a pretty model who walked up to this non-operating lathe and simply touched a control to have her photo taken.

    1. Sorry, John, but that lathe is turning. A quick glance past the boobs will see that the chuck is a smear.

  8. Also oblivious to the saying "tits in the wringer"

  9. Not just nose ring. This one is a 'how to lose an eye or finger' poster. Pretty clearly doesn't know how to run a lathe.

  10. You've heard the term "Tit caught in the Wringer"? Hot chip to the nippleage is worse.

  11. Worst injury I ever saw in person was a lathe with a improperly adjusted chip breaker. A long string of metal came off the carbide cutter, landed in a pile near dudes leg and caught into the chuck and pulled it all back around the chuck and filleted this guy's calf like it was an overcooked sausage

  13. Someone let his old lady in the machine shop and took a photo, move along.

  14. My ex ran my lathe while I was at work. Cuts took 15 mins and she would set the timer and would go out to the shop and reset for the next cut. Saved me a lot of time.
