  4. I've never heard of that gemstone before. My favorite color is blue, but Topaz never did it for me (too light). I might try and look around for it. Thank you for posting this.

    1. Its not really a gemstone like topaz. It is opaque. Lapis lazuli. Basically a very attractive rock.

  6. The color blue is somewhat rare in nature. In books of antiquity the word is not to be found, but other colors are. There’s a great Radiolab podcast episode titled Colors, it’s an easy google find, and the last 1/3 of the hour-long podcast is devoted to the color blue - or lack thereof
