  2. Bullwinkle is about to take one in the brisket and become roasts, steaks and stew. MMMM, moose.

  3. The scaredest I ever was while camping in the back country was when I heard a bull moose calling for a mate in the middle of the night, and over the course of a couple hours he got closer and closer to my camp. I can sleep through wolves howling (in the distance, preferably), but a horny moose in the neighborhood makes me nervous.

  4. Bulls are usually pretty pad back up in NH and Maine, but in the rut they can get pretty crazy, mostly they pay you never mind, the cows are on the skittish side but never seem to be any kind of aggressive, they usually rather be off in a quiet spot solitary mostly, been surprised couple times popping them up deep in the timber where its cool and no flies to bother them. Lot of good wholesome meat on a full grown adult, all of it tender, excellent grilled, ground into burger its first rate, mooseball spaghetti is a family favorite.
