Ready for Camping

  1. That looks very 70's-80's. Chevy Blazer (?) with column shift, avocado color, white-gas lantern, green/yellow tackle box, red plaid glass Thermos. Wicker picnic basket. A blast from the past there. I still have the Thermos and the lantern out in the garage.

  2. At this point I’d leave the pigskin at home.

  3. '69-'72 Blazer. In '73 the square body was introduced and the skinny taillights were gone.

  4. '68-'72, auto trans, 350ci. Great rigs, except they leak around the doors and turn into rust buckets. Turn far tighter than a pickup, but CJ5, Broncos turn around inside them. Yeah, memories...

  7. Always put the plaid glass thermos where it can not fall down. I broke several glass thermoses in a 63 Ford pickup when they would slide off the end of the seat down into the door well. $19.95 Stanley stainless steel fixed the problem.
