And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My US Marine Vietnam tanker veteran group toured MCRD San Diego last September. We had noon chow in their so-called "Mess Hall." Besides several entrees to choose from, as well as sandwiches and hamburgers, there was a glass fronted freezer with small cups of ice cream and a box on the top with small wooden spoons. I had one and the spoon's flavor was far stronger than the bland white ice cream.
Are you suggesting that that ice cream had TASTE?
