And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
CJ5. The grandfather of 4wd. I think the first was CJ2A, been a while, so probably wrong. Civilian Jeep, everyone followed it, International with the Scout, Ford with Bronco, Chevy with the Blazer. CJ could turn around on a dime, give you a nickel back. Old Broncos could turn even tighter. But a good CJ5, best with a 4spd, posi rear end and running the venerable 258 inline 6cyl was by far more impressive. I never saw anything keep up with me seriously off roading. Usually had to go back and find em. More really good days gone.
It's owner found out 4 wheel drive actually means 2 wheel drive.
ReplyDeleteFound the septic tank.
ReplyDeleteThat's my guess, or an old dug well.
DeleteFlood or mud.
ReplyDeleteJeep is just making its way back from Hades.
ReplyDeleteZombie Jeep creeping out of the grave.

ReplyDeleteLooks to me like it's bent from side impact, driver's side. I doubt it would be there if it wasn't totaled.
ReplyDeleteArt project.
ReplyDeleteI'm an older Bronco guy, but from what I've seen, the old Cj5 with inline six was the best (non custom hybrid) climber, crawler.
ReplyDeleteRepurposed fox habitat.
ReplyDeleteBeer, yep beer definitely happened here. Don't let off until you dug in so deep no chance of recovery.
