  1. Now HE is what I would call a formidable man. Masculinity has almost (*ALMOST*) been eradicated in the West, but there are still young men who aspire to this level of being. I recently read that under the new Trump administration, military recruitment numbers are way up, and particularly in the USMC. Hoorah!

    1. Yes, the limp wrist libtards and their "toxic masculinity" garbage has virtually decimated any and all vestiges of manliness in the western world.

Weeeellll now, largely in the places that get the media coverage, you know, the hovels of "progressives." Here in the LYV boys AND girls are raised to be hard working, direct, strong in body and character. FFA, 4-H, gun clubs, and similar groups are booming. But this is bumpkin country, not worthy of coverage from Seattle or Portland, unless there is some item to show their superiority. Well, when the SHTF we'll wait them out and go take their stuff within a couple of weeks as they die off from lack of double shot de-half-caf mocha soy lattes and no wi-fi.

    3. Yakima Valley must be far enough away from Seattle that the limp wrist libtards cannot access the place. Here in Colorado, the turds that have moved from the West Coast have "Cali-fornicated" the state so bad that most conservatives are moving out.

  2. The four silver bars across the ribbon show that he fought in the four major battles during the war, Alma, Inkerman, Balaklava and the siege of Sebastopol.

    1. Doubt they are offended. Scots have an albeit rough sense of humour.

    2. Actually, as I understand it, a good portion of Scotland's citizenry wants to disassociate itself from GB and go back to the pathetic riffraff of the EU.

    3. John, The vast majority of Scots want to leave the UK, (GB as you know only includes 3 nations on the island). Joining the EU is the best economic step forward possible for Scotland. The greedy billionaires that forced BREXIT upon us can do one! Scotland will be free soon from English colonial control.

  4. I'll bet this man was a great asset to have on your side, and a force to be reckoned with. Check out the finger on his left hand, we know he didn't get that from shaving.

    1. I worked with a guy whose index finger looked like that. When he'd use it for pointing, you'd have to ask him for clarification.

    2. Most of my fingers on both hands are like that. Thanks to my father.

  5. Just the fact that he is a Sergeant tells us he has been around a long time. Definitely seen some shit. They didn't give out rank quickly like we do today in our Army.

    1. I think he's a Colour Sergeant, so one rank up and your point is well taken.

  7. Decimation means only one out of ten are sacrificed as an example for the other nine. So only one out of every ten young men are limp-wristed wastrels?

    1. Sadly the classic meaning of "decimated" has been corrupted.

    2. I've commented on that several times.
      He doesn't listen.

  8. Tough soldier indeed, the UK government sent them out without proper clothing, medial support and equipment. Thousands suffered and died from incompetent leadership, lack of winter uniform, and foodstuffs. This man was lucky.
