And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
As someone with 250some leaps from perfectly good airplanes - huh-uh. No way. The safety margins in base jumping are insanely small in comparison. There's a reason base jumping is the most dangerous thing you can do.
Telling my wife to calm down is living on the absolute edge. I've only done a couple of tandems but love jumping and would love to base jump except age has intruded. Done a bungey as well which was pretty intense but cool fun.
