And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Miss the 47 I had to leave in Maryland, was too broke, young, and had to get home. Sturdy as all get out till a rod went thru the block, old trusty 6 cylinder, 3 speed, not a spot of rust, they built them with good steel and iron, it just had a ton of miles, 367,000, a wrist pin or a piston web gave up the ghost.
Split rims. Those were the days. If you only knew how many times I've thanked the Lord for allowing me to survive all the times I installed truck tires on split rims. Today when you ask a tire shop if they can change tires on a split rim they look at you like you've got three heads.
