  2. Restaurant wife and I had anniversary dinner at, got a bourbon cocktail with maple syrup and it came with two strips of bacon sticking up out of the glass, fantastic flavor combo, had to order a second round.

    1. My signature drink is a big ice bourbon with maple bacon and a quarter mini buckwheat waffle infused with real maple syrup at the finish.

  3. Oh yes - Bacon improve any and all meals. And if the rest is too gross to eat - just toss out and slowly munch on bacon.

  5. While I’m thinking about it, there should be a ‘my wife/girlfriend isn’t hungry’ option that doubles your French fries and adds onion rings.

  6. I microwave 2 pounds of bacon on Sundays, carefully separating the rashers as they cook, getting them straight and crispy but not too crispy. Some I eat right away the rest I use during the week for BLTs, Bacon and Eggs, this and that, a snack here one there and so on.

    Putting few of these cold cooked rashers in a pan later for a few seconds crisps them as though they were fresh and takes way less time that starting from scratch.

    One batch lasts a week, unless our sons come over for a visit.
