And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Years ago, went up in a glider, talked the pilot into an aerobatic demonstration flight. Did loops, and inverted flying. It's a bit disconcerting when you have to push your feet to the floor; when you're upside down.
I have a friend who was into gliders years ago and said it was the most peaceful experience but he dropped bombs on Hanoi so I guess he deserved some peace. ET in Dixie
Radio traffic pilot gave my seven year old daughter a flight one day. She didn't want to come down. He even let her fly it. She is totally blind but loves speed. Loved to Sit in my lap and drive my jetboat, the faster the better. Bubbarust
