  5. I'm far south from snow country - what would a snow pack like that weigh ? I'm assuming everything forward the top of windshield is gone for drive view.

    1. Interestingly, it depends on the "snow pack," which is a combination of the density and water content of the snow. That particular amount may weigh anywhere from a hundred pounds up to a thousand or so (assuming the volume is about three feet by three feet by four feet and may contain twenty pounds of water per cubic foot.)
      Where I live, we had plenty of snow this winter, yet the snow pack/water content was extrememly low (some refer to it as powder snow) and already the fields are bone dry.
