And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Nope. Way too many seams to try to waterproof, and the gore-tex will leak like a sieve before too long. And that's not to mention the non-replaceable molded-on soles which require you to throw the entire boot out when the soles have worn out.
I had the 8 inch version of this boot through work, light weight and comfortable. Held up ok, lasted about a year.
