  1. Wish I had a Falcon or a Comet today. I could fix it myself if anything went wrong. Fuel pump, Distributor or points, coil. Could keep the spares in the trunk with a socket and wrench set.

  2. I'm currently in process of freshening the 170 c i on my 64 Falcon. 4 door no options, solid body with nice patina.
The statement above rings so true .

  3. Had a buddy that had one. We'd go drinking beer and cruising the back roads back in the day. Got stopped by the county police a couple of times and talked our way out of trouble. This was before drinking and driving was a capital offense. Just sayin'.

  7. We have a 65 Falcon 4 door station wagon.
fuel injected 302, C4 auto, Vintage Air AC, tubular A arms, disc brakes, and of course fat tires on vintage slot mags and air shocks to get the back end up a little.

we have driven it 500 miles to the Turkey Rod Run at Daytona, and several other long trips. every time we stop for gas, it draws a crowd.

I think the Falcon was available in more body styles than any other car , before or since.
you could get the 2 door sedan, 4 door sedan, 2 door hardtop with no post, 2 door convertible, 2 door station wagon, 4 door station wagon, and the ranchero. all available with the streight 6 or the V-8 and a manual 3 speed or a 4 speed or a automatic.
plus a couple years after the Falcons introduction, you could get the Falcon with the new body, called the Mustang.

and when Ford redesigned the Falcon in 63 1/2, they only changed the lower body , from the windows down, the glass and the roof stayed the same.

and Ford continued making the 1963 Falcon , unchanged except for the grill and head and tail lights, in Argentina, until 1992

the 91 Argentina Falcon looks almost identical to a Mercedes.
