And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It’s a Chrysler Newport. I had a 1973 coupe. Longest production car ever made. Longer than a Ford Excursion. 400 cubic inch V8. Lots of play in the steering. Hard to change the spark plugs. Massive trunk.
I had a used 1975 Imperial LeBaron in the early 80s. Slow motion gas sucking pig, even with a seriously downgraded 440. But what a ride. And what room. Interior was huge. Back seat could hold 4 with ease. The 4 door Imperial was even roomier I think.
Chrysler model?
ReplyDeleteIt’s as big as a whale!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it’s a Newport. Both the Imperial and the New Yorker had side badges on the rear fenders that showed the model name.
