And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That's some abuse right there. How in the world do you get a hole in a guitar? Constant ring finger placement? Pleez.
I have 3 guitars, 27, 31, and 43 years old and all have been played thousands of hours. Even the oldest one (the one I play the most, a Harmony Marquis black 6 string) looks brand new compared to those abused ones.
I don't play, but I'll use my first car as an example: A 72 dodge, 318 engine. I ran the crap outta it, wrecked it a couple times. Had I taken care of it or babied it, maybe I'd still have it, but then I wouldn't have enjoyed driving it like I did. Not saying one way's better than the other, it's just the way people play. -lg
Guitar on the left is a classical - nylon strings, thin top, no pickguard. Someone played it with a pick (like Willie) and it eventually wore through the top.
Nice. The best sounding guitars look like they never get put down.

Never seen Willie Nelson's, then.

Yes I have seen it. Doesn't answer my question.
